Flowering durian trees at Chek Jawa

Every Naked Hermit Crab is always different and you never know what you're going to see! During our walk yesterday, we enjoyed the sight and smell of durian flowers all around us on the ground and up in the trees. As most of us enjoy the taste of durians, we were grateful for the presence of bats and their role in helping pollinate durian flowers. You can read more about that here.

As the monitor hung out on a log and the mudskipper used his front flippers to move in the mud, the children chattered in excitement as they watched them in their wild habitats exhibiting very interesting natural behaviour!
