4th Saturday - Free nature walk at Chek Jawa Boardwalk

We are open for registration of our monthly (February) free nature walk at Chek Jawa Boardwalk! Write to nakedhermitcrabs@gmail.com.

Learn more about the biodiversity of the flora and fauna in Singapore. After all, 2010 is declared as the International Year of Biodiversity by United Nations, and we are celebrating its significance by helping to raise awareness of the importance of conserving biodiversity for human well-being. You too can be part of this. Bring your family and friends out to get away from the urban landscape and to enjoy a wild and natural place in Singapore.

Date: 27 Feb 10 (Saturday)
Time: 9:30 am (Note the change to '9:30 am'!)
Duration: 2 hours
Meeting Place: Chek Jawa Information Kiosk
Cost: no charge for now.

How to get to Chek Jawa?
1) Take the bumboat to the island of Pulau Ubin from Changi Village.

2) Once you arrive at Ubin, you can find a lot of island taxis (vans) near the jetty. Tell the taxi driver to take you to Chek Jawa.

Give yourself 1 hour to travel from Changi Village to Chek Jawa.

We prefer that you come in small groups of 6 or less, usually of families and friends. If you have a large corporate group or intend to organise a corporate event, we suggest that you use the services of the professional nature guides. Write to us and we will tell you who they are.
