Double A RE-live event at Atrium@ Orchard

Last week, in the midst of all the scurrying, some crabs had set up a booth at Atrium@Orchard (next to Plaza Singapura) for the event ' Double A RE-live'. The opening ceremony was graced by Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports & Ministry of Transport, Mr Teo Ser Luck. He presented all the participating NGOs a token of appreciation.

The opening ceremony also highlighted how contagious our name was. After inviting the 'Naked hermit crabs' up to the stage to collect the token of appreciation, the MC had invited up next the 'Naked trekkers' instead of Nature trekkers group!

After the ceremony, Mr Teo visited our booth and listened intently to what we had to share.

We presented him a poster of the Southern shores of Singapore and extended our invitation to him to join the Naked Hermit Crabs at Cyrene Reef.

We were also encouraged by other members of the public who came by our booth. Some of them were already on our Cyrene Reef face book. We had wannabe-guides as well as a teacher who was excited to bring her primary school students for a guided walk at Chek Java due to her soft spot for Pulau Ubin.

The Double A RE-live Event's exhibition is still open for public viewing until the 15th of June from 12 noon to 9pm. So do come by with your friends and family to the Atrium@Orchard and pick up tips on how to RE-live.
